ACOUSTIC MATS
SOUND SOFT UNDER SCREEDS
Used under screed, this is the most efficient solution to absorbe impact sound noise in buildings through the concept of MASS/SPRING/MASS.
Due to the characteristics of the raw material, it presents high resistance to compression, ensuring performance and safety for the acoustic floor system in the long term.
Due to its high density, it allows for the execution of less thick screed, with polypropylene microfiber, rendering the installation more productive and with a competitive total system cost. Check the technical manual with Aubicon service for the execution of the screed prepared by a specialized company.
Durability, thinner and manipulated flooring with microfiber, used in wet areas, flooring does not feel hollow or floating. Alkali-resistant material.
THICKNESS: 2,3,5,8 and 10mm ( others on demand)
DENSITIES: 600 and 750 Kg/m³3
MEETS VUP: Higher level (over 20 years)
****************
The compression fluency test analyses material behavior in the long term when compressed by a specific weight. There was a loss of 7% in thickness under a 10 kPa load. This result ensures that the flooring and applied cover do not suffer damages during the useful life of the work due to system movements. The material was also tested in order to verify resistance to mediums with high alkaline content such as concrete. One may observe that the product is alkali-resistant and, therefore, inert to alkaline attack.
The material was also tested to identify their resistance to high alkalinity media content such as concrete. It can be seen that the product is alkali-resistant and hence an inert material to alkaline attack.

In the test performed with the underlayment in an extended slab (IPT – Technical Report no. 90907-205), the reduction of impact sound pressure was 14 dB and L’nt,w was 58 dB, meeting the intermediate standard of the Brazilian norm. In a reinforced concrete slab, the result with the same underlayment was 49 dB (IPT Technical Report no. 108 250-205) meeting the Higher level of the Performance norm 15575-3 ABNT.
